Traci de Wid is the founder and managing director of Project Abundance Inc. (PAI), a U.S.-based consultancy working with second-stage ventures in the high-tech and photonics industries. Traci comes from an 18-year career with the federal government. Her career in government began at the U.S. Department of Commerce as part of the Economic Development Administration in Washington, DC where she helped manage and track key programs and outcomes. After Commerce, Traci spent nearly 15 years working in U.S. embassies and consulates overseas in the area of national security. Post government, Traci formed PAI Strategic Management Consultancy A.S., where she focused on helping international entrepreneurs in high-tech industries evaluate their potential to compete in the U.S. market. By late 2016, Traci returned to the U.S. to grow her current consultancy firm based in Orlando, FL. Since 2017, Traci has served as a volunteer Mentor with the Camaraderie Foundation’s Mentor Leadership Program.
Traci obtained her M.A. in International Economic Development from the American University in Washington, DC. She also has a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
