Amy Dinsmore is the senior director, business development, at the Orlando Economic Partnership. In this role, Amy is responsible for helping grow the Orlando region’s technology industry through the attraction of new companies, and by supporting local companies grow and succeed. Before joining the Partnership in 2019, Amy spent six years at PowerDMS, a fast-growing SaaS company, where she served as the director of corporate communications, responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of a broad range of corporate and marketing initiatives relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the company.
Amy’s six-year stint in private industry was preceded by 15 years in community and economic development. She was a member of both the marketing and business development teams at the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC) where she spent 10 years growing the Orlando brand and promoting the region as a top-tier location for business. While at the EDC, Amy served as a vital member of the team responsible for recruiting organizations and launching the growth of what is today Lake Nona Medical City. Prior to her work at the EDC, Amy served as the director of communications at the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce.
